Preparation
Each Autumn Term from Year Four upwards, a Senior Schools Information evening is held with a variety of senior school representatives in attendance, following which parents are invited to meet with the Headmistress and agree upon a shortlist of schools.
The start of Year Six is used by the girls for revision and consolidation followed by completing a series of practice papers under exam conditions, role play interview skills and selected Governors asking girls questions on a one to one basis to increase their confidence.
Post Exams
After the majority of school offers have been received in January/February the girls studies focus on broadening their perspectives and bridging the gap between primary and secondary education. Activities include literature workshops, bikeability, a residential week in France and the end of year drama production.
All girls leave Rowan with the values and skills to achieve in life.
