Beyond The Classroom
We want every girl to have opportunities to try something new, discover what she loves and develop interests that build confidence, friendships and skills for life.
Our broad co-curricular programme offers activities before school, at lunchtime and after the school day, spanning sport, music, performing arts, creativity, technology and much more.
Whether a girl wants to join an orchestra, try football, learn to code, perform on stage or simply discover something she has never done before, there is something for everyone.
At Rowan, girls of all ages are encouraged to have a go - because sometimes finding your thing starts with trying something you never expected to love.
Something For Every Girl
Rowan offers a wide and varied programme of clubs and activities throughout the school year, giving girls opportunities to pursue existing passions and explore completely new ones.
Activities include:
- Sport & movement: Football, rugby, running, athletics, gymnastics, judo, cricket, tennis, dance and skiing
- Music: Choirs, orchestra, ensembles and instrumental groups
- Performing arts: Drama and LAMDA
- Creative: Art, sewing and other creative activities
- STEM & thinking: Coding and chess
The programme changes and develops over time, responding to the interests of our girls and creating new opportunities for them to get involved.
