Wraparound Care

Rowan provides full wraparound care during term times and holiday camp provision during the holidays, which continues to grow in popularity each term.

WrapAround Care

Breakfast Club is available for girls every day commencing at 7.45am. A nutritious and wholesome breakfast is provided, and the club is an enjoyable and social way to start the day. Preschool to Year 2 girls can enjoy their breakfast in the Brae hall and girls in Year 3 to Year 6 are invited to the Hill for their breakfast.

The After-School Prep and Activity Club runs every day from 4.00pm to 6.00pm (5.00pm on a Friday) and gives the girls the opportunity to complete their homework or take part in fun activities. We offer the flexibility of booking one hour or two or joining the club after participating in another extra-curricular club, and a healthy snack of sandwiches, fruit and biscuits is included. The After-School Prep and Activity Club is available for all girls from Preschool to Year 6.

Breakfast Club is charged at £6.00 per session.

After-School Club is charged at £7.00 per session, or part session attended.

Childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare vouchers are accepted as full or part payment.

Clubs & Co-curricular Activities

At Rowan we encourage our girls to participate in co-curricular activities to broaden their learning experience. With a wide range of clubs on offer before the school day commences, during lunchtime or after school, there is something for everyone.

For girls who like active clubs we have football, dance, running, athletics, gymnastics, judo, cricket, tennis and skiing. For those looking for calmer activities we offer chess, sewing, art, drama and coding clubs, and for the musical there are choirs, orchestra and a variety of musical ensembles.

holiday Camps - Rowan All Stars

At Rowan Preparatory School, we offer a huge range of exciting and enriching age-specific holiday camps across our four sites: Rowan Brae, Rowan Hill, Hinchley Wood Sports Ground and Oaken Lane Sports Ground. Rowan All Stars camps will allow children to demonstrate a range of our Rowan Star Qualities including Collaboration, Drive, Resilience, Responsibility and Risk-Taking.

Our Rowan All Stars camps are open to current girls from Preschool to Year 6 and we also welcome siblings and friends or family members to join the fun. Families who have accepted an offer from Rowan are also able to sign up. This is a great way for girls to get to know their new school, meet the staff and make new friends from their year group.

All our camps run from 9.00am until 3.00pm and are run primarily by Rowan staff, but there are the familiar faces of some of our regular external club providers too.

Children should come dressed appropriately for the activities they are taking part in and bring their own packed lunch and drinks with them.
