Reception had a wonderful, festive outing to Polesden Lacey. They journeyed through the house and saw Christmas trees twinkling in every corner. The girls admired the spectacular Christmas decorations and gigantic artwork inspired by Mrs Greville's amazing jewellery collection. They were even invited to examine a crystal that glistened like the beautful chandelier in the Gold Room. The girls enjoyed hearing music and seeing how it used to be played on a gramophone. They also made Christmas crafts before venturing outdoors for a fun packed lunch in the forest. We even had time to sing one of our favourite songs from the Nativity in front of the beautiful house. Thank you to the National Trust for such a wonderful opportunity and to the extremely elegant Edwardian ladies who led the tour.
