On Monday morning Year 2 had another wonderful visit to The Homewood, a National Trust property in Esher. Year 2 were extremely lucky to have their own tour of the gardens and home. It was a beautiful sunny day and, exploring the gardens, the girls were impressed by the beauty of the wide range of flowers and the lake. Inside the house, the girls were treated to an interesting tour by National Trust volunteers. We made lots of comparisons between our homes and the home that architect, Patrick Gwynne designed and built in 1938. The girls were all impressed with the modern features of the house, all of which were ahead of their time. Thank you again to Mr and Mrs Scott for their time and for welcoming us so warmly to the Homewood.
