One of the highlights of Year 3 is the annual residential trip to Sayers Croft in Ewhurst, Surrey in the Spring. The girls grow in independence and maturity a great deal in Year 3 and this trip provides opportunities for developing those important skills. The programme includes a variety of activities not usually available to the girls in school, including shelter building, night walks where the story of the Gruffalo is told in the woods, a campfire and rock climbing! Not to mention making our own beds, looking after our belongings and learning to work together. The trip is supervised by teachers who have been leading trips to Sayers Croft for a number of years and who look forward to the trip almost as much as the girls!
