On Monday morning 4 June, Year 2 had another fantastic visit to The Homewood, a National Trust property in Esher. Year 2 were extremely lucky to have their own tour of the gardens and home. Exploring the gardens, the girls were impressed by the beauty of the wide range of plants and a lake where they could see the reflection of the house and gardens. Inside the house, the girls were treated to an interesting tour where we made many comparisons between our homes and the home that architect, Patrick Gwynne designed and built in 1938. The girls were impressed with the modern features of the house, all of which were ahead of their time. Thank you to Mr and Mrs Scott for welcoming us so warmly again to The Homewood and to the National Trust volunteers who gave up their time to show us around the property.
