Interhouse Cross Country Colour Run

12 March 2019

Interhouse Cross Country Colour Run

In aid of the Year 6 Leadership fund raising project, the Rowan Prep Inter-house Cross Country took on a new format this year, a colour run for the charity Water Aid.  What an inspired idea by our Year 6 girls, in spite of the grey sky and rain the Hinchley Wood sports ground was awash with colour and girls raring to run for their house with great excitement.   The afternoon started with a whole school warm up before each year group set off for their race.  Well done to all the girls who all finished and gained points for the House.  The overall winner for the afternoon Heather with the most points across all year groups.

This was a real Rowan sport for all occasion, combining the Inter house cross country with a colour run for such a worthwhile cause was such a success we have decided to repeat it again next year.

Thank you to all the parents who turned up to support and well done to all the girls for making it such a memorable afternoon.
